Build Your Own Website

Duration: 5 hours

Would you like to build your own website? It’s not as difficult as you think, and you don’t need to be an IT geek to do it! Two sessions will enable you to:

Buy a suitable domain name and email addresses for your business
Write the text and gather images for your website
Learn how to put a simple website together, working from a template
Learn how to get into the top 10 site searches on Google etc.
Learn how to update your site
Develop and improve an existing website to make it more client-focused and professional.

There’s no need to spend ££££’s on paying someone else to build a site for you. If you have basic computer skills you can do this yourself, you don’t need knowledge of any specialist programmes or software. There will be lots of 1–1 support on hand to help you, and the sessions will be led by an experienced IT tutor.

Bromham Millers are offering this at a greatly subsidised rate of £25 per person. You will also need to pay approx £90 for a hosting package (all this will be explained fully when you express interest in signing up). Places are limited to eight people, and we need a minimum number of six people to run the sessions.

From the B660 Kimbolton–Bedford road, turn off at the signpost towards Colmworth Golf Course and Colmworth. At the T junction (next to the Cornfields Restaurant) turn left towards Colmworth. Follow the road for approximately 0.75 miles and turn left on to School Lane (next to Puddleducks Nursery). Tythe Farm Business Park is at the top of School Lane and is signposted from the start of School Lane. Our premises have 'The Bromham Millers Craft Business Centre' sign on it.
