Business Boost Workshops

Duration: Five hours

A fantastic way to give your business a boost

All sessions are FREE and are held at Tythe Farm, Colmworth.  Refreshments will be provided; please bring your own lunch.

'Dosh' and Direction

• Improve your understanding of cashflow, profit and loss and business planning
• Work on a PC using Microsoft Excel; an experienced IT tutor will be there to help you
• Create a cashflow and a profit and loss acount
• Create a simple client database
• Learn how to 'mail merge' letters from a client database
• Get lots of one to one support and leave with information on a data stick

You don't need to be an IT whizz, but you will need basic computer skills to make the most of this session.

Getting the Business!

• Explore your market and clarify what your business offers
• Understand your routes to market
• Find more customers
• Learn how to approach people to create sales
• Develop the most effective sales strategy for each of your customer groups
• Practice 'selling'
• Develop a sales and marketing plan for the next 12 months

Tamworth building, Tythe Farm Estate, Colmworth, MK44 2JZ

From the B660 Kimbolton–Bedford road, turn off at the signpost towards Colmworth Golf Course and Colmworth. At the T junction (next to the Cornfields Restaurant) turn left towards Colmworth. Follow the road for approximately 0.75 miles and turn left on to School Lane (next to Puddleducks Nursery). Tythe Farm Business Park is at the top of School Lane and is signposted from the start of School Lane. Our premises have 'The Bromham Millers Craft Business Centre' sign on it.
